BOOKING APPOINTMENTS

If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of COVlD-19 – please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT.

If you show signs of being unwell (even if you are convinced it is a common cold) you will not be treated on the day.

If Amanda tests positive for COVID-19 your appointment will need to be cancelled at short notice. We appreciate that this may be inconvenient but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled you will be able to re-schedule again.

Do not attend your appointment if you have had your COVID-19 Vaccine in the last two weeks (or you are intend to have it within two weeks of receiving treatment).

Amanda has amended our booking terms and conditions and you will not be charged for any appointments which you miss due to illness. Deposits can be rescheduled until further notice but cannot be refunded.

ATTENDING YOUR APPOINTMENT

1. Attend appointments as close to your appointment time as possible, DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY as this may mean that you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving.
2. Please attend appointments ALONE.
3. Please wear a face mask.
4. Please attend appointments with no makeup.
5. Amanda will measure your temperature on arrival to the clinic with a digital thermometer. Anyone showing a raised temperature will be turned away.
6. Amanda will ask you to wash your hands as soon as you enter the clinic and hand sanitiser will be provided.

Amanda will ensure:

1. All surfaces are cleaned between clients.
2. Amanda will wear full PPE (personal protective equipment); gloves, face mask and apron.
3. All tools and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers’ instructions for your safety.
4. Wherever possible Amanda will utilise environmentally friendly, single use items during a treatment that will be disposed of safely after use in order to protect from from cross infection.
5. Amanda can confirm that the laundering of  uniforms is a priority and we can assure you that all laundry is washed at 60º C.

DURING YOUR TREATMENT

Amanda understands the importance of hand hygiene and will adhere to NHS and government guidelines.

Amanda will try to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments, please let Amanda know and we will do what we can to allay your concerns.

AFTER TREATMENT

All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and that of our staff. Amanda will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.
